lopez, the executive director of the latino coalition of silicon valley.e are feeling very, very happy with the early results. the district three seat in san jose city council was vacated last fall after omar torres resigned one day before being arrested on child molestation charges. he has since pleaded no contest and is awaiting sentencing. voters say they want to see changes in their district. the homeless issue, especially through here in this neighborhood and crime. if you don't take care of the little details, breaking into cars or stealing someone's stuff from their yard, it will lead up to worse things. housing and affordability priorities for tortillas. it really is a central issue in san jose and across the bay area, making sure that we're building a city where everyone can afford to thrive. mayor matt mahan also here tonight. i'm just looking forward to all the votes being counted and this being official, and i look forward to working with him to make our entire city better off and really take downtown to the next level. we have so much at stake
