santa rosa an inch and three quarters and petaluma 1.65 all on june 2nd, 1967. that's a lot of rain any time, especially for early june. these are how much temperatures we dropped from saturday into sunday. concord 26, santa rosa 20 degrees, san jose 16. the city dropped 15. we're looking at pretty much a typical early june map here 50, 60, 70. and of course you get far enough inland. you can find some low 80s, but we are running a little bit warmer for most here, a couple or a little santa rosa, petaluma, a little cooler, livermore, little cooler, san jose. but others are running a little bit warmer. napa airport leading the way at plus five, a whopper of a system tapped into some moisture down into arizona and left phoenix with a third of an inch of rain. the greatest ever. there's already the ninth wettest june on record for them, and it's only the second thunderstorm activity up in central sierra. we, though, got this little low that came right down on the coast. and what did that do that increased the fog and the low clouds? i think it's there. i believe it

santa rosa and petaluma. it's not a heat spike, but it's certainly going to be noticeably warmer tomorrow. and primarily it's going to be notably sunnier earlier in the day. all right. how how do we do after that. let's get into that seven day forecast and see how this will play out from then on. and we don't change things a whole lot. seven day is going to lock in. so if you liked if you kind of like things the way they were today and tomorrow we're logging it in, you might get a little warmer inland over the weekend, but i don't think enough to notice. and when you look at temperatures for the bay. in fact, let me get those on her you'll see those temperatures are going to follow a similar trend where they don't budge. and i guess the one takeaway from this is if you're sitting at average and it's june, that's good news. and i spent a year here. it's also a part of the year that is highly vulnerable to intense spikes in heat. i don't see any in the next seven days or even in the next ten. so there's some go

so petaluma, concord, 8890, in the tri valley. and then as we skip our way down into the santa clara valley, you see temperatures there. we'll also be in the mid to upper 80s. so that is going to be the start of a pattern. here's what here's what i would say that if we look at the seven day forecast you're going to see the numbers pretty much leveling out there. the one day that stands out in the whole seven day forecast is the one right here. 4th of july. look at the number. i'll get out of the way. look at all of them. friday is clearly cooler than all the rest. so as we get into the holiday on the 4th of july, that weak little area of low pressure that's going to build in the marine layer a little more tomorrow is going to get replaced by another one on friday, which might do a better job of it. so we'll certainly get a little cooler on friday. and i think we will see a little more of the marine layer as well. it's a big question mark in terms of how much we'll have for the fireworks on friday night. and right now, the best for

this is sadie, who is adoptable from lily's legacy in petaluma.peratures in the north bay are going to be some of the coolest that we have for all inland parts of the bay area, so in petaluma, only up into the low to mid 70s. sun's out, tongues out weather for sadie, but she doesn't have to worry about overheating with those temperatures. only in the 70s where temperatures do climb into the 80s. you probably want to get your pups out for a walk a little bit earlier in the day, before those temperatures warm up to a greater extent. let's take a look at the fog. and while it's hanging out along the coast for now, it is going to spread back out across the bay and make a good push into the inland valleys of the north bay and into the santa clara valley. i don't think it's going to make much of an intrusion into the inland valleys of the east bay. so you're going to see full sunshine tomorrow. and once the sun comes up, that fog is quickly going to push back to the coast. should be hanging out along the coast by about lunchtime or so along the coast. i

petaluma man has been arrested after police say he made several threats to a petaluma city school district official over pride flags. police say josh garza, ollie first left a voicemail back on may. 30th demanding the district to remove the flag from school grounds. and if it wasn't done, guards only reportedly told the district official there would be harsh consequences. police say the suspect then sent an email yesterday morning demand the flag to be removed before the end of the school day. police didn't arrest him. now yesterday afternoon. oakland singer kehlani is facing controversy tonight on her stance on the gaza conflict. multiple jewish organizations in san diego announced they're pulling out of san diego pride because the singer is listed as a headlining performer. the group claims that kay lonny has made anti-semitic comments and they're worried about their safety at this event, the openly artist has been vocal about her support for palestinians and gaza. since hamas attacked in 2023. also this week, kay lonny canceled her appearance at the san francisco pride block party sched

hanging in there at 49 degrees petaluma.pper 40s up in the mountains after that system on saturday. well left behind some pretty cold temps. bookends 36 truckee and south lake tahoe, reno down to 41 degrees. and the fog low clouds. they're beginning to bank up on the coast now. not not not sold out, but it's pretty close. it's not making a big push inland unless you're near the coast or some of the gaps where it's starting to move through the high as well to the west and everything's spilling over it. there's actually a little secondary system from this low right here which will develop over us. so temperatures are really a little warmer one day, little cooler the next, maybe a hint of some tropical moisture monsoon possible. as we head towards the end of the week into the weekend for the mountains. although that's pretty weak and nothing of course for us it looks like we are. our last rain was may 15th. that was it. typical summer pattern. big fog bank on or near the coast. otherwise clear, sunny, inland and warmer. sunny f

right now in santa rosa, it's 54, petaluma 52, napa 55, and then fairfield, concord in the upper 50s,ermore 56 degrees and temperatures are a little bit cooler than they were 24 hours ago. and that trend will continue for some of our afternoon highs on sunday. so as we show you live view there from emeryve looking out towards the bay bridge, it's been pretty busy. a lot of people heading into san francisco. so tomorrow morning with the gray start, we're going to see fog, mist and even a little bit of drizzle as possible. and then in the afternoon it will be sunny except at the coast and breezy once again. and next week temperatures will see a very steady pattern with the overcast skies during the morning hours and then sunnier conditions in the afternoon. so tomorrow morning our lows will be in the mid 50s around the bay in parts of the north bay, a little bit cooler, some low 50s through santa rosa and napa and also san rafael, but then lakeport, still hanging on to 61 degrees, and antioch also milder at 57 degrees. so we'll see the clouds pull back by the early afternoon sunshine fo

notice all the cloud cover and the 40s from petaluma to santa rosa. 43 and 55.t's 53 by the delta cooling off into the upper 40s in livermore and our exploratorium camera. some patchy clouds there. the marine layer not going to last too long so that stratus peels back. we'll get into a mostly sunny day for your father's day and temperatures very similar to where we've had the past couple of days. until we get to tuesday and wednesday, where we get a brief warm up around the bay and inland. high pressure is going to attempt to build in, and that's going to bring some gusty winds as we get ahead of it and even behind it. so we'll be watching that as our upper elevations are pretty dry. we've been lucky not to have any big heat spikes, and the recovery with the marine layer clouds has helped us out in the lower levels of the atmosphere. but you'll notice today a lot of sunshine, a few patches of fog. want to stay right here along the san mateo coast, but we'll get some sun in there. still cool though. upper 50s to low 60s. otherwise, it's a bright day out there and

petaluma, novato four degrees cooler than yesterday at this time. concord's minus three. minus two. santa rosa is in there. now it's warm. you get on the east east side of the sierra and lee side, man. it's hot up there. reno, carson city, minden, even truckee and tahoe there in on the high pressure, but not here. and you can see the activity has been bubbling up the last couple of days. it does look a little quieter today up in the mountains so far. i mean, there were big thunderstorms yesterday. also up in the northern sacramento valley, northeast california. i think we get a little more of a westerly breeze. that kind of pushes a lot of that moisture out of the picture. so they're late to form today, if at all. we do have not much changing here tuesday into wednesday. anytime you get a quick warm up, everything is pointing towards these systems coming back in and cooling us right back down. we finally had our first hurricane in the northern hemisphere. that was a category one, barbara, but it's running into cooler water falling apart. same with this system to the west
