again, a few degrees above average inland, especially in the santa clara valley, low to mid 80s. there the southwesterly wind gets blocked by the santa cruz mountains, so no delivery of any substantial amount of marine air to the santa clara valley. it's a different story for the north bay inland temperatures there only in the low to mid 70s, because that southwesterly wind more effectively finds some of the gaps in the terrain, including the golden gate, and makes its way into the inland valleys of the north bay. pretty much everybody else near normal temperatures, not just tomorrow, but for the next several days. even beyond the seven day forecast, we're going to be seeing a trend of almost exactly normal temperatures within five degrees on either side. so that means mostly low to mid 80s for inland parts of the bay area. through the rest of this week, over the weekend and into early next week, that little bit of morning fog giving way to abundant sunshine for the rest of the day. bayside temperatures hovering right around 70 degrees within again, 2 or 3 degrees on either side.

the only place that saw beautiful sunrise was on top of the santa clara valley, or on top of black mountain places overlooking the santa clara valley, and on top of those highest peaks in the bay area. it's kind of fun that you can actually see the tops of the mountain peaks peeking up above the fog and the clouds early this morning. let's you know, it's also a very low hanging marine layer that continues as we step out this morning. it's going to persist throughout the later morning hours. temperatures are pretty mild, though. they're sitting in the 50s all across the bay area, mid 50s for most of us, upper 50s down south and then low 50s across our north bay and closer to our coastal communities. either way, it's very similar to what we woke up to yesterday at this time, as we are going to continue to see the cloud coverage from this morning taking a little bit longer to peel back, i would say about 1011 is when most of us inland will begin to see some sunshine. our coastal communities are likely going to be seeing a bit more of that fog and that cloud coverage sticking around throughout
