dr. conrad murray, of course. he was paid $150,000 a month to care for jackson. his lawyer says los angeles police and dea agents copied files from a computer hard drive for forensic analysis. and they also seized 21 documents during a raid of the houston clinic, yesterday, which we were watching here live. murray's attorney says the search warrant seeking evidence of manslaughter came as quite a surprise. >> this is a major development in the case. i mean, here we have conrad murray's attorney admitting there's an ongoing manslaughter investigation and we know that a los angeles judge has issued a search warrant. now judges can only issue a search warrant where there's probable cause to believe a crime has been committed, in this case, manslaughter, and there's probable cause to believe that evidence of that crime is at dr. conrad murray's office. so i think we can safely say that authorities are looking at him probably as suspects -- >> police have not identified, we want to point out, dr. murray whom you see here as a suspect.

they searched dr. conrad murray's houston clinic in a storage unit. they appear to be building a manslaughter case against him. ted rollins has the latest on the expanding investigation this morning. >>> john, carol, two different stories with the two warrants that were served in las vegas, the one here at dr. conrad murray's clinic took investigators eight hours to serve. they were in there looking at medical records for all of the data. the other warrant was served at dr. conrad murray's house and didn't take long at all. one agent showed up at dr. conrad murray's las vegas home, he was there to greet them. after three hours inside, investigators left, according to murray's attorney with cell phones and a computer hard drive. another warrant was served at murray's las vegas clinic where agents spent the entire day. >> they're looking through records and documents. and looking for any that pertain to the search warrant itself. and those documents will be seized as evidence. >> the search warrant, according to murray's attorneys, authorize investigato

conrad murray. and we reported on the "today" show this morning that they have already requested a third interview with dr. murray. remember, they impounded his car when this first happened. they since returned it. they interviewed him twice. the second interview lasted three hours. now here they are saying we actually want to talk to you again a couple weeks later. and they told dr. murray, we reported this morning they actually wanted more of his medical records. of course, at the time no one knew that they were going to get them anyway. sort of in this raid fashion down in houston. dr. murray's spokesperson said this sun expected to us and working on putting a statement together. it's important that conrad murray has not been charged with anything. the toxicology report is not out yet. sources inside -- sourced involved and familiar with this case say it's unlikely that you'll see murder charges here. it will be involuntary manslaughter charge if anything. >> and, yeah, again we're -- >> it's unc
