danville police are calling this a tragedy and an unfortunate accident. they say a 19-year-old was somehow on the outside of an suv, fell off that suv and died. now, this morning, danville police are interviewing witnesses, so detailed are still coming in. but they tell me that -- the chief, i just got off the phone with him, he said alcohol does not appear to be a factor with the driver. they say there may be miscommunication here, that what appears to have happened is that this 19-year-old was outside of the car, when some acquaintances pulled up and then he made the decision to try to hurry up and get inside that car. rather than stunt riding, he was trying to hurry up and get in the car, he jumped on the car and that's when he fell and died. it was around 11:50 when this happened. at first police weren't sure if this was horse play or what. >> we are working off what statements were given to us by witnesses that he was holding on to the side of the car, maybe holding on to the roof rails, still something we are looking into. there was enough witnesses
