nevada, reno, it's been hot. but there are signs some of those areas will cool down. we'll see but that's what the forecast models are saying. it's foggy and cold in the city. 52, 62 on the high side. yesterday's high was 63. not much change. average high this time of year is 68. haven't seen that in a little bit. 77 in santa rosa after yesterday's 81. did manage to eek out a low 80. oakland finally broke through, above 68 and hit 70. but today, back into 60s and 77 san jose after yesterday's 8. 52 san rafael/napa and santa rosa. no change. 37 in tahoe. reno, 59. yet, reno again, another day yesterday of 90 degrees or hotter on their high. that's 30 consecutive days, seventh longest streak ever. it's still hot on the coast. there's a lot of tropical clouds in southern california. more sunshine and warmer down there. for us, more fog and mist. the system driving down from seattle/portland and it will be cooler tomorrow. i think we'll see a cooler pattern take shape tomorrow and then that will really usher in a cooling trend by friday and then we keep it there as we go
