on the stage is tony, lindsay, i know him, too. a lot of bay area musicians come on to show that they can do. we caught up with him and his band not too long ago. let's listen to what he has to say about jazz music in his own words. >> one, two, one, two, three. ♪ >> i think this may be the fourth time i have performed at the jazz festival. ♪ >> being able to share what i louisville with people who i love, like my family and also people i interact with, it's a great thrill for me to be able to do that. some of the biggest names in jazz, funk rock, have come from the san francisco aarea. ♪ >> we are going to feature music from my brand-new album. every person has a very, very important role. for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience, listening to jazz and sitting back and listening to what the saxophone is doing. how is that interacting with the drummer. how is it interacting with the base player? and the best jazz is like that, you have this dialogue going on between all the different musicians not room. really, a musi
