from the east bay hills, wayne friedman, abc 7 news. >> well, our weather is looking pretty good. and we actually last week had a couple of nice days. >> that's right. this forecast though is really gonna flirt with some of the warmest temperatures we've had all summer. so, yeah, we're looking at pretty good heat coming our way. of course, it's not going to last. here it only lasts two or three days and that's typical but what's atypical is the patchy fog this morning. we're used to the dense fog. we've taken a break from that. high definition emeryville, you can see the fog out there but it's not quite as extensive as the east bay valleys. but temperatures are cooler without that uniform cloud cover, that blanket insulating us. we're dropping a few degrees. mid to upper 40s from novato to menlo park. some of the warmer numbers san jose where the fog is just beginning to enter 54 in fremont. so overall everyone trending downward this morning. and so some holes in that overcast that's going work to bring us more sunshine and as a result warmer temperatures today. 9 degrees cooler i

from the napa valley, wayne friedman, abc 7 news. >> well, there's a positive to take out of the cooler weather all right right? >> absolutely. we've had very low fire danger and another day of much cooler than average. but on the opposite side of that beginning really monday. but a big warm-up underway tomorrow. sun rising this morning at 6:31, setting at 7:55. emeryville this morning in the dark with the gray skies, mist and drizzle. and that extends all the way to the east bay valleys, the sacramento valley and fairfield. temperatures this morning are cool, in the 50s. and we're looking at numbers just around 60 in sunnyvale. so look for the mist and drizzle to hold on throughout much of the day here along the coast and because of the extensive cloud deck in our east bay valleys, slow clearing today and a cooler afternoon. yesterday we saw some 80s. no 80s in the forecast today. you have to go all the way out to sacramento even to get some low 80s. so low clouds, areas of drizzle and we will see sunshine much sooner tomorrow in the late morning hours. that begins our warm-up and then
