kelly mcpherson, wjz eyewitness news. >> thank you very much kelly. >> at this hour, flood watch is in effect for much of the region. a live look outside. at one point this afternoon there were even tornado warnings for a few areas. updating the watches and warnings for us is bob turk. >> we do have heavy rain in portions of the region. take a look at radar, around washington county and western fredrick county, it continues to rain out there from hancock to fredrick. they've had heavy rain in the last hour. south of the baltimore metro area and south washington from east to cambridge and across southern portions of the western shore just a few light sprinkles and showers showing up right now. but i think we do have a possibility of heavy rain later on tonight. because of that there are watches and advisories in effect. bernadette woods is live to look at the region for tonight. >> bob was describing with all of the heavy rain. with all the heavy rain we did have flood flash warnings in effect for a lot of the area. we could see more warnings posted as we head through the morning hours
