one of the things that is expected is a new generation of ipods. why is that important? they were introduced only nine years ago. it's on its fourth or fifth generation and there are already 21 distinct, different models and hundreds have been told. so possibly a new series which means for the holidays, they will be big, big sellers, possibly a new apple system where -- where can you take tv from the internet put it on your tv. another feature, basically something like a car that you rent for a day or two. instead of buying something and keep it permanently you just went it for a certain period of time and it disappears. this will be the big thing jobs will be talking about today. what's most important is apple's continuing dominance even in this terrible economy really helps the bay area's economy and the nation's economy since so much of the stuff does end up going overseas. we will see what mr. jobs has to say, we will see his new ideas are and we'll see the products many of us will be using in the future. tom vacar, ktvu channel 2 news. >> thank you, tom. >>> 8:47. t
