there are some mornings now in western maryland for parts of frederick county. gusty winds are possible and of course that dangerous lightning associated with a cluster of storms as well. you can expect one last little shot of some thunder and heavy downpours as the storms cut across the baltimore metro area in the next hour or so. we have not had a whole bunch of rain at bwi marshall, but it was a warm enough day to get these thunderstorms popping up into the mid 80's in most spots before the showers cool things off. warnings in effect for frederick and washington county. computer model data shows the last of the storms winding down and moving down toward ocean city by morning. we may see a little patchy fog will form as we head toward dawn. we can see this front coming in from western maryland, picking up the storms ahead of the front. high pressure stretches back to chicago, delivering a beautiful star to the upcoming weekend. -- a beautiful start to the upcoming weekend. it looks like we are back to a dry pattern after tonight's rain moves out. sunshine, bre
