kcbs radio's matt bigler on the three big changes being considered. good morning to you, matt. >> reporter: good morning, yeah, there are three different ordinances that are automatic encompassing for -- all encompassing for these smoking changes that could happen in santa clara county. the first deals with underaged smoking. apparently teenaged smoking is a big problem here in santa clara county. this ordinance could change that. what it would do is target stores that are selling cigarettes and other tobacco products to minors. it would require those stores in county areas to get a permit annual permit before they can sell any tobacco products. and that permit fee would partially pay for these new ordinances. there's also a smoking ban that targets outdoor smoking and also smoking in buildings. if this passes, then smoking in county parks would be illegal as well as in multiunit residents like hotels and even apartment buildings in county areas. and in outdoor lines. if this passes, you can't smoke if you're standing in line like for a movie theater.
