steve harrigan live for us. we will be checking in with steve. the rest of our numerous crews there including our reporter adam housley throughout the night. steve, stand by. think how their lives will be changed. as one mom described it, my son is a simple miner. he has worked very hard all his life. he has a wife and children who love him very much. they live a simple existence. now he will emerge from a hole after 68 or 69 days, depending on when that particular miner gets out as a national hero, who hasn't seen the sun or any light in many months. and now is going to have the attention of the entire world upon him, at least for the months ahead. probably for years ahead. and potentially until the day he dies. a group of very simple men who are coming out with a world of attention on them. and that will be difficult. we have seen this sort of rescue before back in 2002, teams saved nine miners from the pennsylvania flooded cue creek coal mine. i said 2002. same rescue cage they are using in chile. the man in charge of that entire rescue was a
