let's check with meteorologist mike nicco this morning. >> that's a great question, jenelle. especially if you're living in alameda county and san mateo county down near santa clara, the south bay. that's where we have the best radar returns, where the heaviest rain is falling. this is all moving to the northeast about 30 mph. it's going to hang around about another couple of hours. light rain and possible drizzle that's not showing up on live doppler 7 hd. even that could cause a few problems during the morning hour. pretty much the morning commute at least early on is going to be wet and then residual wetness and soggy afterwards. mild, temperatures low to mid-50s to 48 los gatos. these are all warmer than yesterday except los gatos about 1 degree cooler. fairfield and half moon bay the same. under a mild and moist air mass and that's going to lead to cloud cover this afternoon even once the rain ends. upper 50s to low 60s. most of the bay shore around 60 down into the santa clara valley. as far as tonight goes, we're going to see patchy fog develop. it could be especially

let's check with meteorologist mike nicco. >> you can see on live doppler 7 hd that all looks quiet but the radar is overshooting the drizzle and the fog which is hugging the ground this morning. you see radar returns off the sonoma and marin county coast. that can be heavier sprinkles and maybe scattered light rain for the morning commute. it will be the north bay most likely to see that wet weather even during the afternoon hours. visibility running from a half mile in half moon bay to about four miles in san carlos, two and a half and nevada and one and three quarters in santa rosa. as you can see with various power cams it is locally thick in some areas. temperatures mild, mid to upper 50s. by noon we start to see the moisture lift, especially the farther south you are. that's why we're in the low 60s santa rosa but it's cloudy with those scattered sprinkles continuing in the north bay, mid-50s and by 4:00 mid-50s, upper 50s to near 60 for the rest of us. look for more fog to form tonight and temperatures to jump up with the sunshine tomorrow. potential valley fog could plague our i
