meteorologist sandhya patel is here with flood advisories and watches in affect for the bay area tonight. sandhya? >> and dan the advisories are in affect for a good reason. we have seen a strong storm. it continues to make its impact known. let me show you where it is raining heavily right now. as we close in we have heavy rain around san francisco and out toward the east bay. i want to get in a little tighter here in the east bay. oakland, alameda and down toward 73rd avenue redwood road and as we head across 24 into lafayette and walnut creek and pleasant hill getting some very heavy rain. as we pan around to other parts of the bay area you will notice heavy rain in san francisco along the embarcadero. caesar chavez, and we have seen some heavy rains. as we shift gears toward the south, we are also seeing some rain falling moderate to heavy around san jose and the santa cruz mountains. this will continue for the next couple hours. a flash flood watch continues until midnight for the north bay. still expecting heavy rain. localized flash flooding is possible. a flash flood advisory unt
