and samples the delicious noodles of japan. first the headlines for this sunday morning the 9th of january, 2011. horror story in tucson has left six dead, 13 wounded, terrible sadness in its wake, and many unanswered questions. here is what we know this morning. police now say 22-year-old jared loughner, the alleged juneman, is mentally unstable. they think he targeted representative gabrielle giffords for attack. the handgun he used was purchased legally in november at a tucson gun store. president obama has dispatched f.b.i. director robert mueller to arizona to oversee the investigation. as for the latest on representative giffords' condition, the arizona democrat remains critical but hospital officials say the outlook for her survival is optimistic. by the way tucson police are searching for a second person in connection with yesterday's attack, but it is not clear if he played any role in the shootings. our ben tracy is in tucson this morning. he takes us back now to where it all began less than 24 hours ago. >> reporter:
