los gatos, 49 and 48 in san francisco. all right. let's get back to the cold temperatures out here tonight. currently, 43 in livermore. 44 in fairfield. 45 in novato and currently 47 in sunnyvale. as we continue to look at this pattern, the storm system pushes off towards the east. we're noting clearing back here behind it but as many of you know, once we get rain and clearing, it is going to set in a pattern of fog and that's what we will watch out for tomorrow morning. meanwhile, we do have another system we watch later on in the week. it's still over 1,000 miles out here and looks like we're only going to get grazed by the weaker system as we head into thursday. once again, the chances for showers in the upcoming forecast. starting off with 30s in the east bay and upper 30s and low 40s in the south bay and then a little bit of warming. the warm spot tomorrow is the south bay with upper 50s to near 60. if you're doing any traveling, we heard it on the nightly news with brian williams. there is very rare snow, upwards of six inches.

you can see there 50 in mountain view and los gatos, 49 in concord. so most areas in the comfort range for the time being. mostly clear and cooler tonight. sunny and mild patterns setting up, and remaining dry really for the next seven days. let me show you the satellite and radar. it will provide us with the dry weather. really tomorrow this short wave will move through. that's just going to help to cool us down by a few degrees tomorrow. but you really won't notice it because the sun will be out and it will be a pleasant day. breezy tomorrow afternoon which is why it will be cooler. the high pressure strengthens and it sends the storm track well to the north of the bay area which is why we will not see any drops on the radar screen for the next seven days. with the higher pressure shifting inland, we will see offshore flow patterns setting up, and with the offshore wind pattern you will see mild conditions with limited fog. if we get any, it will be night and morning and very patchy in our valleys. so speaking of valleys, temperatures in the coldest

gatos. a couple things going on. we've got the clear sky, breezy winds in the hills this morning. no fog to speak of. a little fog in the sacramento airport, mainly to the south of us. that could be up a little throughout the morning hours creating some patches of fog in our east bay valleys but we're still remaining dry all throughout next week. so a weak system yesterday moved on through reinforcing our high pressure ridge and that allowed for a little bit more of a warm-up with that northerly wind. today the setup remains pretty much the same with high pressure anchored to the east of us. in fact, it's a strong area of high pressure to the west of us. i should say in the eastern pacific. that's going to allow the storm track to stay well to the north for the next several days into next week. so we're gonna stay dry but tomorrow i think we'll see more in the way of fog. that will allow for our temperatures to come down a few degrees. and then another area of high pressure will allow the te
