. >> reporter: well, albany police say they are looking for 16-year-old john scott. they say he believe he has access to a gun and also ammunition and we have seen reports he went here to mcgregor high school. an energized scene as class got out in part because of a two- hour lockdown in the albany school district. the school superintendent is quoted as saying police advised them to take the precautionary measure. john scott was reported missing from his home about 1:15 a.m. this morning. he may be upset some recent problems. a handgun and ammunition were taken from the home. in a news release the superintendent says there was an unsubstantiated report that scott was seen in the city of albany. >> we were in lockdown after band. we weren't allowed to go through the normal exits to get into classes so we went through the emergency exit. >> a police car over there. so they said no one can come in or out. but everything was calm. it was just like a precautionary measure. >> reporter: john scott was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. he weighs about 130 pounds.
