dana tyler joins us now with what turned out to be a perfect day in so many ways. dana? >> reporter: it really did sydnie and frank. it didn't rain, the sun was out, it was warm. thousands of people out on the street. we were among them this morning. such a happy day. i mean, the feeling was really tangible. prince william and princess katherine shared their wedding day with the world. it's the grand day at westminster abbey and on the streets of london teeming with hundreds of thousands of well- wishers anxiously awaiting the wedding of the century. the it william, harry were followed by the queen. prime minister david cameron, elton john, the beckhams and an eye catching display of hats. the dress designed by alexander mcqueen. the gown has a low v neck line, long sleeves, a train of more than two yards. over her veil a tiara loaned by the queen. at the altar, the prince wearing the scarlet tunic of an irish guard mounted officers uniform tells his bride you look beautiful. before they exchanged vows inside the abbey. >> i william arthur philip louis take thee katherin
