jerry brown has said for months that he intends to protect current funding for k through 12 education, but he may not have much of a choice. his plan hinges on tax extensions. if they don't pass, it could be an all cuts budget this year. brown is slated to reveal that plan which is said to be very ugly on may 16. in the meantime we have seen cuts up and down the state to education, muic education, rather, phys. ed.casion and larger class sizes so the teachers are saying enough is enough....
