they just opened the middle bore of the caldecott tunnel. an overturned injury crash, the center bore has been closed for an hour. westbound 24 stacking up to wilder road. westbound 4 you can now use both tunnels towards oakland. that center bore was just re- opened from chp. you can see speeds are slow behind it though. 14 miles per hour but hopefully we'll start to see some recovery here very shortly. let's go out to the south bay. that's where we are also dealing with a second accident. the on-ramp remains shut down to southbound 101 approaching the capitol expressway so you have to use tully road as unalternate. in the meantime the rest of the south bay looks okay including traffic coming out of downtown san jose in the northbound lane of 280. southbound looks fine as well. bay bridge toll plaza, metering lights are off. sometimes they turn it on later on friday's because it's lighter than we typically see so delays not too bad right now heading into san francisco. that's a check of traffic. here's lawrence with your forecast. >> it's fr

the chp is telling us that vehicles are just starting to move through the caldecott tunnel where. it had been shut down for about the last 45 minutes while crews worked to clear an overturned vehicles from the west end. the good news is, traffic because of the early our hands because it is friday, traffic did not back up to badly. the drive time would normally be 16 minutes, it is only about 90 minutes from walnut creek to the macarthur maze. because this occurred so early and they did manage to get it cleared so quickly we have managed to avoid a big backup or problems that would otherwise continued through the morning commute. cannot cambridge checked this morning, even though we heard near the minute to walk where the metering lights would normally be activated, we would start to see a back up, we have not yet so far although it is the end of summer light for the bridge. your san mateo bridge ride looks good. a little bit of haze. westbound a little bit lighter than usual but is moved to me. the golden gate bridge ride is a problem free from doubt encounter. the right through m
