it's just simply not true that republicans won't vote -- that youth won't vote for republicans and even the very first millennialist when they came to the polls, the first eligible to vote in 2000 what their ticket evenly between al gore and george bush. i think it is fair to say that because you don't have as much experience as older generation, their political views are formed as much by the failures we have known in my lifetime as they are by any vision that is espoused by a particular politician. i think reagan was aided by the failures of the carter investigation, but he also is able to communicate conservatism's though beautifully an entire generation rally to this vision. and i think that's also a barack obama was able to do. the youth -- the first at breaking in 04 because they believed john kerry's mantra that it was at the wrong time in the wrong place and in 2005 the failures of the federal government to really respond to hurricane katrina also affected them as well as candles in 2006 in the house of representatives. and i think it is republican brand damage they tribute away
