last night we brought you the story of a stanford student missing in malaysia. tonight we can pass along word that he is safe. jacob boone's mother said her son finally called her this morning from a national park in malaysia. he told her he was okay that his disappearance was a long story and he would call the family again when he gets out of the park in a couple days. the family and stanford students launched a massive facebook campaign to find him. they found a malaysian student at stanford whose father works in the prime minister's office. it appears that connection with the aide of the u.s. consulate helped find jacob boone quickly. a 2-year-old was shot in a parked car this afternoon. the car was parked along 60th avenue and mcarthur boulevard. the shooting happened a little after 3:00 this afternoon. crews rushed the toddler to the hospital for treatment. and we're awaiting an update of the condition of the 2-year-old at this point. another toddler was shot and killed in oakland just 10 days ago in a drive by shooting. carlos navo was shopping with his fa
