and how osha will be up here tomorrow to try and sort it all out. we do know that a researcher adrian martin is reportedly mixing three gases, methane, nitrogen and helium, for a lab project, and menlo park fire officials say a tank containing one of those gases apparently ruptured, killing the 56-year-old san jose man. and the blast also threw a female co-worker into a room next door and she suffered eardrum pain but she is okay. and she survived and is taken to stanford medical center. according to city leaders, the haz-mat team determined that the explosion actually sent a second container that was leaking through a wall, lodging the contain ner another wall. haz-mat crews made sure gas levels were low enough before investigators were allowed back in. during their last walk through. they found extensive damage to two labs, and several offices. and now, membrane technology and research here, specializes in gas separation, it seems that martin was doing some pretty routine work with gases, transferring gases, friday, when the explosion happened, an
