salisbury 39 at the boardwalk in ocean city. 36 frederick. still in the 20's out in far western maryland. and we take a look at our satellite radar combination right now. and we can see a lot of cloud cover, especially from the northern bay area and northward up into pennsylvania and new york state and back toward ohio, indiana, illinois. that's the cloud cover coming in our direction. we expect this clipper to generate a little snow activity. our forecast for today calls for a lot of clouds, chilly conditions, 42 to 47 the high. a snow shower of late. we're watching that stuff in pennsylvania to see what happens. the mountains will have a great effect on this as far as heating up what little moisture is with that pressure. northwest winds at 10 miles per hour. our indication is that we could see a couple flurries, a brief snow shower. any indications will more than likely be out in far western maryland. no snow a problem out in san diego where clear skies are expected for the game tomorrow evening. evening out there, late afternoon here. chi

the temperatures are mostly above the freezing mark. 44 in annapolis. 39 in salisbury. the warm air is pushed in from the south. this comes in as a rain event. it is not cold enough to snow. highs around 40 in the mountains with rain beginning this morning. in baltimore, the rain could be heavy at times throughout the afternoon. 52 in southern maryland. 55 around ocean city. the showers and after the evening tonight. the wind will start to pick up behind this latest storm. 36 in baltimore. colder air pushes in for tomorrow. there's not a lot of cold air associated with this. some snow in indianapolis is mixing with rain. it will change over to it wintry mix. for us, this is a great event. we're talking heavier rain moving into baltimore through the afternoon. then we talk about a changeover to snow. garrett county will be a spot to see some snow tonight into early tomorrow. then the storm system moves off. in mostly dry a pattern ahead. from cumberland was, you could see some snow into the morning. most of the accumulation will be in garrett county. that should not add

our record high that today it was 77 degrees. 63 at college park, mid-60's around salisbury, and worn out in western maryland. tonight it stays mild. the rain will continue coming. rose tonight anywhere from four to nine degrees -- lows tonight anywhere from four to nine degrees below average. it was five below zero this morning in denver. subzero readings covered most of the northern plains down into the rockies, and some 30's as close as a state new york and parts of southwestern ohio around cincinnati. the colder air is creeping slowly and our direction. the boundary is about to make it into baltimore. tomorrow morning our wins it will shift to the northwest, bringing some of that cold air in. a new area of low pressure will ride up the coast as the cold air is coming in. we will start the day tomorrow with periods of rain, falling into the 40's in the afternoon. tomorrow morning it begins to drop into the upper 30's. parts of baltimore, harvard, carroll county and up into frederick county the storm will be rolling up the coast quick and by dawn on thursday it will be gone. anytime
