just wrapping up, the team for the proposal is to local firms. solomon, court well, and santos press thought. mercy housing is a local housing developer that i am sure you are familiar with. -- sanots presscott. they have experience in europe. this would be their first san francisco project. they have committed to having local staff working full-time on the project, but it is also exciting that we have attracted new investment to san francisco, but obviously the most important thing we have emphasized is they need to have as much local participation and local members of the team as possible, and they have done that. all the other members of the team are local and they will have a permanent presence in san francisco as a result of the project. with that, we will proceed with negotiating an ena, we will take to the redevelopment theme early next year. as you are aware, this approval is contingent upon a supreme court decision, which will be coming down soon about the future of redevelopment agencies. depending on what the supreme court decision is,

san francisco green party and the local grassroots organization of our city. a few things on the amendments that you're going over. an important one is the ceqa issue. what we're seeing out here is that we need the final approval of the shell contract and the program that is being based on it to be contingent upon the build out work -- and by the way, not necessarily the full nine to 11 months, but enough of the build of work being completed in five or six months to inform of the economics of the contract will work. we're not saying that the contract needs to be changed so that it is adopting construction and installation. we are saying that once we flesh out that build-out information sufficiently and, like we said, get the horse before the cart sufficiently, what we learned about how we're going to build the build-out will give us tools to radically affect the economics is some tiny shell contract. i do not believe that is a ceqa issue. because it is not asking for changes in infrastructure. it is just got to change the financial structure and agreement. thi

businesses because they make up the diversity of our local neighborhoods. those are some of the challenges that face our businesses. >> are there other issues specific to your district? how do you balance the needs of the issues in your district against the needs of the city as a whole? >> i know that our district has a higher proportion of seniors than some other district, and there is a brand new senior complex and wraparound community services complex called the institution on aging bridge housing complex, but it is going to concentrate a lot of the senior services and nonprofits. about 180 units of affordable senior housing in our district. i am actually a baby boomer, at the edge of the baby boomer, and i know that baby boomer era. there's this huge boom in a population of seniors in our city that will grow. i think by 2020, 60% of the population will be seniors, and i think some people are now defining 60 and over, but i think generally, people looking at 65 and over. that is a huge population. i'm trying to look at issues of senior nutrition programs
