tomorrow is a spare the air day. wednesday is probably going to be a spare the air day. wednesday should be the hottest day. the heat from the east is coming our way. that high pressure is shifted and as it shifted our temperatures are going to warm up. so this is pretty typical for this time of year. we got the spare the air days. we're not looking for strong offshore winds at all but we're going to have humidity. i expect thursday some of those inland valleys could be hotter. forecast high in clear lake 96, 75 in richmond. temperatures significantly warmer tomorrow. around the bay you have 78 in hayward, 79 in castro valley. those temperatures will warm up a little bit on wednesday but the real heat is in those inland bay valleys. where any moisture is not going to get there. 80 in los gatos. as we head to the coast it's going to be cool in pacifica. and you have by the ballpark you may be 76 degrees. the five day forecast then pretty warm, actually hot the next couple of days. we haven't had that many 100 days. in the spare the air day i think they will duplicate it f

now, what we have next coming this way is the dryer air. right now you can see on the radar things are pretty quiet really, except we know way out in west virginia where we do have a couple showers. they've been actually weakening. but otherwise we're looking at skies clearing out. 82 degrees. still mostly cloudy in downtown. winds are northwest at 10 miles per hour. and dew points are in the 60s. right now we are in the 70s in gaithersburg. 79 in manassas. 73 in winchester. fredericksburg in the mid 70s. dew points, it's still muggy out there. i was just out on the weather terrace. you can still feel upper 60s and 70s. but you look up north, lower 60s in haeger town. so the -- hagerstown. so the dryer air is making its way south overnight and through tomorrow and we'll see dew points drop in the 50s and you will notice a difference tomorrow. our satellite radar picture showing us we're going to see skies clearing out making its way for sunshine tomorrow. get ready for the dryer air to move in overnight. less humid for your wednesday. it's

they have heating but not air conditioning. >> do they have outside air? >> absolutely, they have windows and they also have a system called z-duct, which provides for a share even when the windows are closed. >> one of the reasons they have the systems, ever since 1974, chapter 12-day of the building code requires that you have sound transmission isolation between dwelling units so they cannot hear their neighbors, and between the residential units and the cars at outside. that specifically says that if you are in one of these noise areas, which are on the transit corridor, that you must design the building such that you can ventilate the resident units with the windows closed, meeting all the noise control requirements. you close the windows and you still have enough ventilation, which is why people use z-ducts. >> that is correct. the bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans are on at a low-level all the time. even when the windows are closed they are always pulling in adequate amounts of ventilation from the exterior. >> are there any other special noise cont
