so we have to think about boston in an earlier time, and boston was much smaller buildings. think about people carrying all of their provisions on carts drawn by horses. remember, this is the biggest ship that's ever been built in boston. when the construction is happening in the 1790s. so we can meet a few of the people who provided the supplies for "constitution." we have the skillins brothers who carved the figurehead of "constitution." when she was first launched, you can see in a close-up of a painting from 1803, we have the oldest known image of "constitution" painted in 1803. you can see hercules standing on the firm rock of independence holding the document, the constitution in his hand because the ship is named for the document that governs our country as she defends our country. so the skillins brothers carved the figurehead. this is a wonderful representation of today of what that figurehead probably looked like. it actually was damaged when "constitution" was sailing in the mediterranean in the early 1800s so we don't have the original figurehead, but this gives

from buffalo to boston, barely any rainfall this month of july. yesterday, of course, the ground is very dry. we haven't had the rain. it's very easy for the sun to heat things up. all the areas that i've circled here, almost all of the country was 95 degrees or hotter yesterday. the hottest spot that i saw was rapid city at 103. now, this morning, we're starting off very warm. it feels like 87 in st. louis as you step outside. 85 in chicago. so those are the areas that are going to be favored for the hottest temperatures today. eventually a cold front that is now appearing in minnesota and wisconsin will drop down and cool everyone off. that's still two days away for us. we have heat warnings in detroit and philadelphia. heat advisories many areas of the ohio valley. here's how hot it's going to get today. 100 forecast high d.c., chicago, st. louis, des moines and detroit could be one of the hottest spots in all of the united states today. forecast high expected 102 in detroit. >> brutal. >> keep going. >> we got nothing to say. >> keep going. >>

long-standing relationship in boston, boston partners years ago where netanyahu worked with mitt romney on similar deals. >> i think here the republicans do have -- there is a vulnerability. the fact is the president has done an enormous amount helping guarantee security but that's not the issue. the issue is whether or not emotionally and psychologically he's perceived to be a lover of the idea of israel. like bill clinton was, even like george w. bush. here romney has a clear advantage. for a guy who is stiff and awkward, this is the one issue on which emotionally he can be the motor in chief in waiting so to speak. the president has a hard time emoting on most issues. when it comes to israelis, there's no question he sees israel much more along the line of the continuum of america's national security interests rather than on the values interest. that comes across. i think it won't make a difference in the election but in a tight election you don't want to alienate people and give anybody an issue against which to raise money against you. the israel issue could be that. >> aaron david
