it is passing south of san juan and the dominican republic right now. it is going to travel across the yucatan peninsula and into the gulf of mexico. this is the current forecast. maximum winds of 60 miles an hour. it should cross the yucatan on wednesday and go back into the gulf of mexico wednesday or thursday as a hurricane. that is something we have to watch. the second storm is florence. this one is way out there and just off the african coast. most of the models take this one further north. florence might be something that the east coast has to watch. we are talking 10, 12 days away. but it will be approaching the east coast of the united states. it is a tropical storm right now. they will probably both become hurricanes over the next 48 hours. nothing going on here at tom. we are watching all line of storms out of ohio. this one produced gusts over 80 miles an hour. i think it is going to fall apart by the time it gets toward us. some of those showers may hold together. but we will probably start out with quiet conditions. 81 at the airport. 77 d
