i mentioned that wind advisory currently in effect. that plays a large role in reducing visibility and different landing patterns. flights now approaching from the northeast over oakland airport instead of from the southeast over the san mateo bridge. we do know that the wind will cause flight delays until at least midnight. if you are leaving out of sfo or picking someone up, the duty manager suggests that you call ahead to make sure that that flight is arriving on time or taking off on time. again, those cancellations are in effect so make sure that your flight is is not among those that are listed. we also can tell you that they it are suggesting that you use the cell phone parking lot if you are picking someone up because security has been tight. they are moving people along as quickly as they pull up and i, too, am using my plastic bag to keep things dry. it is a wet one out here so drive safely if you have to venture out at all. nick smith, abc 7 news. >>> san francisco public works crews cleaning up a gas station's toppled metal
