let's go to our reporter in petaluma. rising water out there, as well. >>> good morning, there has been a steady rain. it's just letting up a little bit. just a little bit of drizzle but it helped fill willow brook creek behind me. people that work nearby were surprised how quickly it filled. it was completely empty on thursday. we have video from the guerneville area yesterday where one man whose trailer sits on right on the bank he watched the river rise up 17 feet yesterday. some drivers ignored those warning signs. they tried to cross anyway but didn't have any look. >> we were coming from windsor and we were going to the mall. once we got to the water. you could see the cars smoke coming out here and i turned the car back off and turned it back on. and we opened the doors and all the water came in. >> everybody thinks they can come through and they don't make it. >> they don't make it. a windsor resident he pulled out three cars. it forced the closure of route 12 and highway 121 but it happened all across the bay are
