winter weather advisories up in the sierra nevada, snow levels expected to drop to about 3,000 feet and could see another 2 to 6" of snow across the high country, 50s into the central valley, about 52 degrees in monterey, and some showers expected there, as well. well, the cold front swinging on through this morning then turning to more scattered showers outside. then this afternoon we start to dry out. then i think we'll catch a brief break toward thursday but things may change again looking toward friday. there's another slight chance of more rain on the way. temperatures for today will be chilly, grab a jacket. only 54 degrees in fremont. 56 pacifica, breezy this afternoon the 54 degrees in livermore. 55 in danville. you'll notice the blue showing up across some of the mountains. those are temperatures only in the 40s for highs today. 56 degrees one of the warmer spots in san leandro. and 55 degrees in daly city. next couple of days we'll settle things down just a little bit. but he think a chance of rain returns again as the storm door opens on sunday. looks like more showers into m

here in california, half of the water from the sierra nevada snowpack is not enough to go around today. what if it gets warmer and the snow that melts in the winter? come spring, farmers will not have the water that they need. in west texas, we are taking the water out of an aquifer. in 15 years, we have drained half the aquifer. it is not coming back. where will we get the water then? in the northeast, where a big cities right at sea level. they are already liable to stone -- to storm say. -- to storms today. as the world warms, we will have increasing risks, but we have already built into our cities and agriculture and water and heat. but is that water vulnerable ready -- vulnerability trickling into the system? >> until now, you have the ability of with drying unlimited amounts of water. for the first time, they're intending to limit them and people are up in arms. that is a freedom you're taking away >> you really mean arms. >> yes, i do. 1 >> , some of the drought with sought and colorado is affected by climate? >> it comes down to what you said in what the future will look like.
