charley crowson is in colorado and shows us how people are dealing with the disaster. >> reporter: charley crowson reporting in colorado. now day 5 of the torrential rain and flooding playing a big -- plaguing a big portion of the state. we have learned they are estimating the land mass size of the flooded area to be in the neighborhood of the size of the state of connecticut. we are in will county predominantly rural area north of denver but we want to show you 100 county roads are closed as result of the flooding. and this is just one of them county road 13. you see the truck moving through right now. it's a heavy duty truck smaller cars shouldn't attempt anything at all like this. the intersection of county road 13 and 26 in the past hour since we have been in this position. the flooding of the road has been so severe that it's taken over the banks to the west moving to the east. you see the waters moving into this farmland and now threatening this area but threatening cattle and live stock out to the west you see the horses now on the driest land possible. the truck that moved through
