christie smith is live at sfo now. this training is very valuable, especially in the wake of a asiana crash. >> absolutely. this is with new equipment for first responders here at sfo. as you cede big training exercise in the wake of that asiana crash here at sfo this summer. these exercises help first responders prepare for disasters, they practice aircraft fire fighting, pilot extrication and evacuation. it's something that they do regularly but today, firefighters, paramedics and emts do these with the marine corps new mv-22 osprey aircraft. it takes off and lands like a helicopter but has the capability to fly out like a plane. it would be used for humanitarian and disaster situations. this happens as asiana airlines whose plane went down in july says it will boost pilot training and start an outside review of safety standards. pilots will get more time in flight simulators to prepare for airports that don't have guidance systems. the training is at 9:00 this morning at the coast guard station here at sfo. live at

we are spenting at least 30-miles-per-hour gusts at sfo. as you can see looking from our mount tamalpais camera it is moving up-and-down indicating we are seeing breezes. we are waking up to a few low wherever clouds and that will make way for higher clouds but mostly clear skies today. you can see them creeping over san francisco. there is a look at the bay bridge. right now the bay area is clear. live doppler 7 hd shows radar satellite not showing much in returns as far as moisture. that is going to be coming up during the weekend when we have a chance of rain. for the day planner the next 12 hours we are starting off cooler, and the low clouds will burn off at 58 degrees to get going and 72 closer to noon. we will experience temperatures up to 80 degrees inland and 72 around the bay and 66 along the coast. by 7:00 p.m., we will be seeing the cool down but it will all warm up by tomorrow. here is a look toward the bay bridge with nice clear conditions for us and pretty decent for the next three days so a warm-up starting tomorrow through
