from kabc channel 7, and more pictures over here, in the 103. this is authorities who are making their way to the motorcycle microphones folks from the airport police department. and in this group of people who are coming to give us information a lot of smiles along the way. i'm confident that they are happy that this has come to a conclusion. along with the rest lost his li middle of this chaotic scene. again, this video, this is now coming in as videotape on a replay on the wall of this people who has been taken into custody. the reporters will be asking questions about this in just a few moments because we know that the gunman himself was found on the tarmac outside the, outside the gate area and the description that i have gotten repeatedly is that he was wrestled to the ground, handcuffeded and taken away. there are multiple reports that he has since died. fox news cannot confirm though they're coming to us from "the los angeles times" and others. for all i know, it's not true. we'll wait to hear it from authorities and one tsa agent was sh

you can see right now that is a shot from kabc outside los angeles international airport, which is just a mess right now in terms of traffic and no one being able to get in and only being able to get out on foot. i want to now bring in sean henry, former executive assistant director for the fbi and president of crown strike which provides security technology services. thanks so much for talking to us. last time we spoke, it was during the navy yard shooting. we have been talking here with two other former fbi officials about possible reasons why this might have happened. it was raised perhaps the shooter was targeting a specific individual. is it also possible the shooter may have been targeting the tsa in general? >> yeah, you know, jake, the police go through a very methodical process when there's an incident like this. first they want to make sure they mitigate the threat and i.d. co-conspirators and in trying to piece this together, that is absolutely the question they will be asking is what's the motivation. you'll typically go through a list. i think terrorism has been ruled out,

aerials coming from affiliate kabc. an incident let's call this one. not sure of the details at the moment. >> what we're looking at are these aerials what seems to be officers, it looks like law enforcement officials, are some it's hard to see. it looked like they had at some point had pulled weapons but you see there's a firefighter there, as well who seems to be talking with law enforcement officials. we are also looking at what seems to be the parking lot that is in the area. again, we are just getting word that there are evacuations taking place outside. people are coming outside of the airport because of a warning that the airport is giving to those who are inside of a potential incident, and we believe it could be a shooting incident. >> yeah. what we have from the official twitter account of the los angeles international airport is this. a tweet in its entirety reads they, and this is pretty much all we know "there is an incident under way at l.a.x. law enforcement is on the scene. more information to follow." so that's pretty much all we've go
