i'm a celebrity in korea. seriously there's an obsession over this but it was fascinating to be there and talk with a bunch of college students who have gone through the korean system and were back there. they are in college here so they are talking about what they viewed as the dysfunction of the actual system. you write about this in the book where you have the school system where at least in the estimation of the 40 or so kids i was talking to, they were learning precious little but they would go at 11:00 p.m. at night go home and study. what was fascinating is they get the top 5% of the students academically to go into teaching in the regular system. so you know, and i was talking to some of the powers that be there and they say yeah they start out fine but they get stuck in a dysfunctional system. the whole thing was resonating in this certain way and i am curious because you have spent a lot of time looking at the korean system. >> korea has a crazy laboratory, very interesting place. they select element
