i also learned that san franciscan mal care and control was the only animal place in the entire city of san francisco that worked with small animals and did any sort of assistance for them. pets unlimited and spca both have wonderful resources and beautiful buildings, but they only work with cats and dogs, so the over 120, to 150 rabbits each year that come into san francisco either go through the animal care and control or go through the non-profit and volunteer based organization and we get no spay help at any of those hospitals and we are not able to house anybody there and we were offered a room at spca which was kind but we were told that we would need to clean the room ourselves because the rabbits are not their mission and they don't have staff to dedicate to that. so i really from my heart, want to ask you to please, fund san franciscan mal care and control, they are one of the most dedicated, authentic, and genuine animal lovers that i know. >> thank you very much. >> we do have a rule at the board of supervisors about no applause or booing, if people approve you can do a th

san franciscans during campaigns read everything they are sent in the mail. love to meet candidates. a gauge with them in conversations. i also learned how important it is to build bridges between communities, particularly communities of diversity we have. i was just incredibly honored to have been elected in november 2008. my district really encompasses the ethnic and economic diversity that exists throughout the city. as a result, i think my district is really emblematic of the entire city. you can find every political perspective that you could possibly want in district 3. so oftentimes, the interest of my district and the city really are quite a line, so i do not have to think about this difference is probably quite as often as some of my colleagues may have to. i in particular want to thank the mayor for his decision to protect our nutrition programs. this is something that i think we all believe is incredibly important at a time when we have seen massive federal and state cuts, for us to hold the line locally and stand up in the city of st. francis for

i've driven through the neighborhood i am a san franciscan grew up in san francisco after world war ii. i can tell you drying all the way from lincoln way to this area i didn't find one apartment building with a chimney on the roof. i doibl doubt there's any pavement buildings that have chimneys. they say that at&t did not look at an additional site. that building is on the screen. and incidentally the staff report says the building is seen by nearby structures and it's suitable, however, there's no screening on that four story structure they only relied on at&ts information. this should have been considered under the guidelines. the staff report claims there's nothing to worry about. however, the safety sheet from the battery manufacturer which is the exhibit b warn of a possible fire or exploitation. vehicles would be parked next to the battery. opponents contend that at&t is going to operate with more power tramentd by the antenna on the roof. the staff report didn't disagree with this allocation and a refers to american people engineering report that doesn't relate to this issue. t
