adrian, that's a really great question. to be honest, you can never be 100% sure that the course of treatment you've taken is the right one. but certainly as you're receiving a diagnosis, that is not the right time to be making major decisions or leaving those decisions in the hands of loved ones. here's what i did and i think we should all have a living health plan. i think a health plan that we come up with before a major illness befalls us. i know that we have health proxies for when we're suddenly incapable of making a decision. but we shouldn't wait until we're confronted with a major medical crisis to do research. for example, deciding between different types of chemotherapies after you were told you have cancer isn't the time to make the decision. do your own research, have the limits and have the doctors you research and their numbers at their fingertips. we need someone at our side who we trust to keep us on our course. if we're ever confronted with an illness or disease, there's nothing wrong with saying to a doct
