it's time for the "ask carol" question of the week. tod today, the question is, how do i know if i'm acid or alkaline to know what foods i should or shouldn't eat? you have to do some of your own sleuthing. but this is how i kind of figured it out. first, you need to get some p.h. papers. take it between 8:00 and 10:00 in the morning after your first urinati urination. each time you put the paper into the urine and check the color against the chart on the back of the package. do the same thing with your saliva, taking it before you eat anything or before you brush your teeth at the same times i mentioned earlier. you do that for one week. then you add up all your evening and morning urines and salivas and divide it by 7 and then add up your afternoon urine and salivas, again dividing by 7. you should have two different numbers because in the morning and the evening, you're way more acid. in the afternoon, you're way more alkaline. you get how your average p.h. level is happening during your day. and it should more or less tell you if y
