joining me is osce spokesman to talk about this. last time we spoke you were in ukraine and you've been there several times in recent months. talk to us about how this situation has changed. has it gotten worse obviously? >> hi, brianna, good to be back to you. yes, there's definitely been an escalation in the violence. we now have a group of monitors from our special monitoring mission to ukraine in my real poll and they've just reported to us, in fact, just a few minutes ago, that there's definitely a lot of activity backing up what your correspondents have been saying in terms of ukrainian troops digging in and building military barriers and protection for themselves and in addition they spoke to ukrainian soldiers on the ground and i guess you could call it trepidation because of the sense we got was that they feel far more outdone and on the rebels' side they reported seeing tanks, armored personnel vehicles and missile launchers so it sounds like a very unbalanced situation right now on both sides. >> can you talk a little bit

now, we have heard that the osce and the team of international investigators have arrived at the crash site for a second time. they have arrived 2 1/2 hours earlier than yesterday and looking to do limited searches today. it's not a full operation they are able to carry out. day by day, they are assessing the security on the ground. they could need to be out there for weeks to carry out the investigations they need. the priority is to bring home any remain that is have not been recovered from the site. >> of course stay safe in the process. that may be a complicating factor. >>> republican leaders in the house in a stand off with tea party supporters on immigration reform. in an effort to salvage a bill to address the border crisis. a thursday vote was canceled after opposition from tea party voters. the measure called for $659 million, a far cry from the $4 billion request. >> if we don't pass a bill, the president will do what he needs to do. the president would like to see us lead. >> what changes tomorrow, though, that wasn't there today? >> i hope some people grow up. >> like? >>
