halloween was canceled because eric frein was on the run. pennsylvania state police joined the children for halloween fun. parents say after being worried about being outside for seven weeks they enjoyed the night. >> this is eric frein moments after he was charged with murder. he made his first court appearance after shooting two state troopers killing one. he was captured thursday on the grounds of an abandoned resort in tanersville. people asked him if he was sorry for his actions. frein is being held in a maximum security cell. >> reporter: for seven weeks law enforcement agencies combed the wooded area in the poconos, but on day 49 a money dane grid walk became monumental. u.s. marshal scott malkowsky was the first to spot eric frein. i saw this guy, i thought what is he doing here and then i knew it was him. the somewhat team closed in on frein. the marshalls hunted him down while searching an banded airstrip and resort. he describes the heart racing moment when he and frein made eye contact. >> he turned toward me, i identified him as
