that's where mike bettes joins us from. mike, what is it looking like there now? >> well, it is a winter wonderland. south of buffalo. it's a wonderful life. we measured 20 plus inches of snow here. and you know, we come out to the the roadways and there's a big roundabout. it an inch or two of compact snow here. the plows coming through constantly. but what a mess. you can certainly see the visibility is greatly reduced. plow through the snow. if you have front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, you're probably not getting around today. that's for sure. a lot of folks are having fun as well. it's an off day for them. as they told us, this is just a warmup for what's to come this winter, they hope. many roadways around buffalo, major arteries are shut down. but i got to tell you, the snow band is very narrow. 10 to 15 miles wide at most. if that, you're in sunshine. if you're in it, you're in what we're in now. 20 inches plus in the last 12 hours. over the next 12 hours, it will potentially double what we have on the ground. the snow will be waist deep by tonight. w
