i'm angie goff. >> i'm adam tuss. let's get right to chuck with a look at the forecast. chuck, when does it all start? >> it's getting going right now. i'm still receiving reports from weather watchers in northern maryland. even though the radar is showing snow my weather watchers on the scene say they're not seeing the flakes reaching the ground. that tells me the air mass is very dry between the bottom of the clouds and the ground so a lot of the early snowflakes are evaporating before they get to the ground. winter weather advisories are posted for the entire nbc4 viewing area. this pink area is a winter storm warning going on later today and into tonight. around our viewing area around this morning, some places could pick up two inches of snow or less. two inches i think is probably the highest amount. by later this afternoon, it becomes more of a sleet and freezing rain threat and drying out after the sun goes down today. here is storm team 4 radar. all indications are that there's snow in northern maryland. if y
