the hearing is set to start at 8:30 in annapolis. the judge will consider several things, among them the severity of the crimes he's accused of. these all started in february. hong young is 35 years old and police say he first shot and wounded a 61-year-old man outside the anne arundel mills mall back in february. for that he's charged with assault and attempted murder. police say hong also fired shots at a building at the nsa, a truck on the icc, a wal-mart in laurel, and at a theater at the columbia mall. young is from beltsville and he was a prison guard for several years until he resigned in 2014. according to court documents, young had declined to have an attorney represent him and he said he heard voices in his head, even telling him to shoot at that random driver on the icc. again a judge will decide whether or not to set bail later this morning in annapolis at 8:30 we'll have a crew in there. we'll be posting updates on what the judge decides. back to you in the studio. >> thank you, nikki, live in annapolis this morning. >>>
