msnbc ari melber is outside the courthouse in brooklyn where pugh will be arraigned. ari, what more do we know regarding his arrest and where he was traveling? >> reporter: we know that tairod pugh was attempting to enter isis controlled territory on the turkish border with syria. they obtained information about that were able to have him deported back to the united states in january. now in the next five minutes or so, this arraignment scheduled to begin in brooklyn. he will be charged with material support for terrorism for that attempt to join isis as well as charged with illegally destroying evidence flash drives digital evidence relating to that. those are the charges. he is from new jersey. he is an air force veteran and expected according to his attorney to plead going this hour. >> what do we know regarding information authorities obtained through his computer? >> reporter: they obtained extensive google searches that they say showed the path of what he was trying to do. this is as you are reporting and people discussed the kind of self radicalization we see o

ari melber is here to break it down for us. >> good morning, jose. you put your finger on it. this could be the biggest case of the year for the supreme court. let's get to it. you have challenges to obamacare here. the argument is this is not health care for all. the way the law was written, it is health care for some. they say it should only provide health care for americans in states that actually set up state exchanges, and if you didn't set one up in a state, you don't get health care funding. that's the argument of challengers. look at what the obama administration is saying. they argue that actually that's a misinterpretation of the law, it is not health care for some it is health care for all, and that opponents are seizing on isolated phrases to distort the meaning. congress never intended to punish states that may not have set up state exchanges. obama administration saying that's why there are national exchanges. and finally, they say congressional democrats that passed the law, whether they had errors or not, never would have adopted a quote self defeating scheme.

for more on both stories, joined by luke russert on capitol hill and ari melber in brooklyn. gentlemen, good morning. luke, start with you. can you give a preview of today's hearing? >> reporter: expect this hearing to be similar to the one that happened last week where we had administration officials come before congress and relevant committees and essentially make their case for the administration's authorization of use of military force agreement, which as we have said jose has come under fire from both the left and right. the left worried it could be a prolonged conflict in a volatile middle east region where they don't want to see repeat of the iraq war. the right, conservative hawks say this aumf the white house puts forward ties the president's hands, doesn't allow for enough ground troops if the need were to come forward. it also does not allow the united states to go geographically where they need to be to combat the threat. so expect dempsey and ash carter to push the administration's plan but i've got to tell you sort of an underreported story from capitol hill we
