we just spoke to the fire marshall there, monique, what did he have to say? >> reporter: vai, the fire marshall told us he still has not determined the exact cause of the blaze, but he has been able to go inside now. we have been watching firefighters inside the two-story home with flashlights. the fire marshall told us with the light of day he hopes to get in sift through the rubble and get a better idea of what sparked this blaze. but i can tell you he told us they were called here just after 4:00 this morning for a garage fire. that fire quickly spread to the home. we have also seen them putting out a fire on a car, a vehicle outside the house. we don't know if the fire spread in both directions towards the right or toward the house. there consider cars outside, so we have seen them battling a fire in a vehicle just outside of the house. now you can see that firefighters are up on the ladder truck still dousing heavy spots from above. they are also on the ground on the left side of the mouse honoring the the situation there. and an enormous response here.
