this line of officers appear to be baltimore city police officers. i do not see any of the officers from other jurisdictions. it's calm here. the people who are on this corner do not appear to be terribly agitated. they're here to establish order and not allow anybody to go in any other direction. my photographer partner moving in this direction can see some of the folks who are bystanders who have been witnessing this. there are people clearly upset about this presence in their neighborhood. upset about all that's going on. particularly the fire down the street at the cvs. so from my perspective at this location, an extremely heavy police presence near the cvs. police trying to establish some control so they can get the fire put out. i've not seen the fire hoses you have reported on that have been cut. and it looks like the interior of this police line is quite secure. there are dozens of police vehicles in there. presumably they have this side of the conflict under control. this is pennsylvania and retreat, a couple blocks north to the store that's
