i'm derek mcginty. >> i'm jan jeffcoat. the severe weather might be over, but first alert chief meteorologist topper shutt is tracking lingering showers and even some thunderstorms on live doppler 9000. >> nothing severe, but these are stubborn. we have showers in green which is generally light, but heavier activity up 270 toward frederick, the red and yellow, heavy rain on the east side of 270 headed off to the north and east up toward thurmont. we had a lot of reports of hail across the metro area and reports of wind damage south of annapolis and actually reports of a funnel cloud in parts of southern maryland. this is the hail around rockville. about 8:15 hail about the size of a quarter. we do have a tornado watch that now includes eastern sections of maryland and parts of the delmarva points north, chester town and dover up into portion -- chestertown and dover up into portions of new jersey. we just got this minutes ago coming to us from huntington not far from plum island where they actually saw a waterspout. this is
