also wilmington. low 60s for south jersey and delaware. by tomorrow a lot of these temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler believe it or not. right now on the radar, the showers that we're watching areas north and west of philadelphia mostly through montgomery and chester counties across the pa turnpike we're seeing moderate rain showers around norristown and even upper bucks county. a lot of showers will make their way into new jersey. most of this is on the lighter side. but where you see the yellows and the oranges, that's the heavier rain. i showed you montgomery county. for atlantic city mostly seeing the light rain spotty through parts of cape may county. really this isn't going to end any time soon. we have more rain in the forecast for tonight. and especially for the end of the week. so kind of a rainy palt earn. it's all coming in from the west. and there's no immediate clearing any time soon. not until the weekend. future weather shows the rain moving in. by 9 p.m. we're still dealing with showers overnight. to start off you

well wilmington has not been successful in taking wilmington. and so with that, wilmington is now the window to the world. and all manner of goods and materials brought from around the world can be brought into wilmington, placed on a rail car and then taken up to petersburg. now union army, of course, hampered that somewhat and the summer of 1864 when they cut the weldon railroad and the two battles that take place there the assaults on the weldon railroad on august 18th 19th and 21st and then further to cut the railroad to the battle of ream station on august 25th. but the confederate still maintain the tror a point into virginia where they would then transfer those goods off of the rail cards on to wagons. and using that system of plafrpg roads, would take the goods and materials into petersburg that way. but with the union attack on wilmington in december of 1846, it starts to spell doom for one of them. it won't be until the 15th of january that wilmington and f ft. fisher will actually fall. but that is going to set into motion the vents t
