delia goncalves is gosh fire. delia goncalves -- delia goncalves is live on the scene with more. >> reporter: a mike a lot of activity has been happening especially the last couple of hours, we've seen atf acts and d.c. police going in and out of the house trying to figure out exactly what happened here. in this suspicious fire in the 3200 block of woodland drive. take a look at that second floor. you can see that heavy fire damage from yesterday afternoon's fire. and that is on the second floor where firefighters discovered the bodies. here's what we know so far. the home is owned by 46-year- old sava savopoulos and his wife amy. neighbors tell us they have two teenagers daughters and a -- teenaged daughters and a son in the fourth grade. police haven't identified the victims but a housekeeper who was reporting to work yesterday and she was frantically trying to get in touch with folks inside. she believes mom, her son, and another housekeeper were inside at the time. but i should emphasize that police have not c

fortunately none of the firefighters were seriously hurt. >>> i'm delia goncalves. live in northwest outside of miriam's kitchen. the doors just opened moments ago. we had a line of two dozen or so homeless people. they're now inside getting breakfast. it would be their only meal of the day and no doubt of course their first meal but less people will need this free meal because homelessness has dropped in the district of columbia. according to the national points in time count that was conducted in d.c. in january, there are 11,623 people living with no shelter. still a big number but it's about a 2.5% decrease. the mayor wants to end chronic homelessness in five years. she wants to replace the shelter at the old d.c. general with dozens of smaller shelledders and she's contacting -- shelters and she's contacting landlords across the city to give up some of their homes for the homeless in the city. she also wants to increase sales tax bifer a quarter percent to 6 -- tax by a quarter percent to 6% to help fund these wrap around services and she is also putting more m
